Florida bill for Black farmers and Telehealth renewals

Governor Ron Desantis (yes, I'm shocked too but) has signed a bill into Law which increases access and decreases costs for Black farmers who had been discriminated against in a lawsuit "Pigford Vs Glickman".

The linked article has a more detailed description but lacks some of the details which were part of the Pigford vs. Glickman lawsuit which rewarded a 1.25 BILLION dollar settlement for discrimination against black farmers who had filed the class action complaint. The new bill (HB387) signed into Law June 2023 lowers cost of licensing and encourages more participation in the currently lucrative Cannabis farming market in the state of Florida.
